This book is a collection of products from young Italian designers, who were educated in state run design schools and universities. Over 200 products demonstrate the creations from these young designers, many self-employed others incorporated in teams in studios or in companies or in research centres. The Foreword includes the inaugural lecture given by Marco Zanuso at the start of the 1987 at the Politecnico di Milano.
